SUMMARY:9th Annual Art of Healing
DESCRIPTION:Art of Healing is an annual art auction that is held each spring as a community fundraiser for the South Central Health Care Foundation. Approximately 350 people have attended our past events\, with over $30\,000 raised each year. These funds helped cover the cost of events such as the Wellness Wednesday's Community Health Screening Initiative which provided free health screenings throughout the year for hundreds of area residents.\n\n\n\nThe Art of Healing will celebrate the 65th Anniversary of South Central Regional Medical Center. The event will offer all of the great things it has offered before a silent art auction\, a live art auction\, great food\, and beverages  with the addition of an after party immediately following the live auction. The band this year will play old time favorites during the auction\, but immediately following the live auction Dr. Zarr and the Amazing Funk Monster will turn things up a notch at an after party which will continue until 11 pm.
